Bulverde is well country. Iron first, then the softener.
Most of Bulverde and the 281 corridor north of 1604 sits on Trinity aquifer wells. That means hardness plus iron, and often hydrogen sulfide. Sizing a softener without addressing the iron is how a unit fails in two years — we do not do that.

Trinity wells here are typically 20+ grains hard with dissolved iron above the staining threshold. Some subdivisions are served by Canyon Lake Water Service Company, which is treated surface water and simpler to handle. Text us a photo of your water bill or wellhead and we will know which you have.
Published range $2,100–$4,000 pre-plumbed, softener only. Higher only for code work, distance, or special circumstances.
Same softener, same warranty, everywhere we go.
10% cross-link resin, Clack valve. Five years on the valve, ten on the tank, one year of free service checkup. Installed by Jason and Anthony.
