6% cross-link resin dies in about two years on San Antonio water. We carry 10% cross-link only, and Clack valves only — the LPWS32K and LPWS48K. When you get three or four prices for one softener size, the resin grade or valve quality is what's changing. Here it doesn't. One grade, one valve, no tiers.

Which size do I need?
The most common question we get. Sizing comes down to two things: how hard your water is and how many people use it. SAWS reports San Antonio water at 15–20 grains per gallon.
